EURASHE PHExcel Project Survey

PHExcel project on Testing the Feasibility of a Quality Label for Professional Higher Education Excellence has been running since October 2013. The main goal of this project is to support, develop and enhance excellence in professional higher education (PHE) in Europe. To this end, it proposes an enhancement process leading to the recognition of excellence, which supplements existing quality assurance and accreditation procedures. After developing a Draft Quality Framework for Professional Higher Education Excellence as well as accompanying Principles and Guidelines for Assessing and Recognising PHE Excellence, the project partners invite you to help them validate the proposed quality framework by taking part in their survey.

EUA Trends 2015: the changing context of European higher education

EUA Trends 2015 presents universities’ perceptions of the changes that have taken place in European higher education over the past five years. Based on survey responses of 451 higher education institutions from 46 countries (48 higher education systems), the report outlines the changing context in which higher education institutions operate. 2015 results confirm the pre-eminence of both quality assurance and internationalisation, which had been identified as a key development by the Trends 2010 report: 92% of institutions say internationalisation has contributed to improving the quality of learning and teaching (students and staff mobility; international collaboration); use of ICT has joined quality assurance and internationalisation as the third top priority of institutions.
