European Journal of Education (EJE) – Volume 50, Issue 1: What is learning for?

european_journal_educationThe celebratory Volume 50 of the European Journal of Education is now online. Issue 1, entitled “What is Learning For?”, is out now and will be free to download throughout 2015. This anniversary volume introduces an innovative new feature. In addition to the academic articles, there is a selection of “thought pieces”, where significant thinkers and actors in education reflect on a certain question, in this case, “what learning is for”. The following issues will be: “Learning to Be” (June 2015), “Education and Social Transformation” (September 2015). The December issue will explore learning challenges in a changing world. It will also draw together key debates explored in Volume 50 looking forward to emerging challeng. The journal is edited by the European Institute of Education and Social Policy and published by Wiley.
