DCW is a European project carried out by EucA and Netherhall Educational Association (NEA) to mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9th 1989.DCW will emphasise the roles played by both public bodies, and individual citizens, including victims of totalitarian oppression in bringing about the fall of the Berlin Wall, and their continued role in supporting freedom of conscience. The project aims to reach 200 students, from at least 10 EU countries. The second symposium, part of the project, will take place on February 27th 2015 in Brussels, at the European Economic and Social Committee. The main speaker is prof. Harald Wydra, St. Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge, with a keynote speech titled “Making Europe from the Margins before 1989: The Politics of Conscience and the Fall of the Berlin Wall”.
