Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU) is a network of 34 organisations in 25 countries in Europe and North Africa. YEU is an international youth led organisation working on mainstreaming youth issues in society by encouraging development of young people’s competences by using non-formal education and youth work as tools. YEU’s mission is to be an inclusive network of youth organisations, led by and for young people, promoting importance of active citizenship initiatives by using non-formal education as a tool in order to provide knowledge, skills and intercultural experience for personal and social development through promotion of peace, understanding and cooperation between the young people of the world, in a spirit of respect for human rights.
