EURASHE is the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education connecting educators, policymakers, and professionals in the field from across Europe and beyond. The Association gathers 58 members from 30 different countries, overall representing more than 550 HEIs located in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.


Priorities


EURASHE’s mission is to advance and promote the value and relevance of professional higher education for society, which they do through work on skills, quality assurance, research, transnational cooperation, and local and regional impact. In practice, this work is carried out through:


Collaboration: through the EURASHE Communities of Practice and its international members

Events: EURASHE’s annual conference, as well as webinars and workshops

Networking: participation in high-level working groups, such as the Bologna Follow-up Group (BFUG), and pan-European associations such as the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), and the International Association of Universities (IAU) among others.
