EUCEN is organising its 44th conference at the University of Malta on 7-9 November on the theme “Border-crossing as a Viable Choice: collaboration, dialogue and access to higher education”. The conference will assess the impact of the actual global context (economic crisis, educational reforms, migration flows) on access to higher education and highlight initiatives and projects that increased participation in lifelong learning. In the framework of the European Year 2012, discussions will also occur on active ageing and inter-generational dialogue. Contributions are accepted until 5 September and early-bird registrations are open until 10 October.
