In view of the revision of the 2006 Key Competences Framework, EEE-YFU released its position paper calling for better recognition and inclusion of global competence.
The European Commission is going to review the 2006 Key Competences Framework, a very important tool that set guidelines for educational systems across Europe. This framework identifies and describes 8 key competences: communication in a mother tongue; communication in a foreign language; mathematical, scientific and technological competence; digital competence; learning to learn; social and civic competences; sense of initiative and entrepreneurship; cultural awareness and expression.
