Unlocking New Horizons: Enhancing Quality of Life Through Vocational Education, Training, and Community Care

Event Details

Unlocking New Horizons” conference wants to spotlight and advocate the results achieved by the QOLIVET project. Among these noteworthy outcomes are the Quality Impact Assessment Tool (QIAT), the QOLISERV.EU platform, and the Online Training Course each representing key milestones in the journey of the QOLIVET project.

In Europe, VET and Community Care services touch the lives of countless individuals with disabilities. Recognizing the pivotal role that they play in shaping the quality of life (QoL) for People with Disabilities stands as a cornerstone in addressing this vital matter.

Commenced in November 2020 and set to conclude in October 2023, the QOLIVET project culminates in the “Unlocking New Horizons” conference; its final objective is to spotlight and advocate the results achieved. Among these noteworthy outcomes are the Quality Impact Assessment Tool (QIAT), the QOLISERV.EU platform, and the Online training course— each representing key milestones in the journey of the QOLIVET project.

This conference not only serves as a platform to showcase the accomplishments of the QOLIVET project but also extends its focus to foster a broader dialogue. While the project remains at the heart of our discussions, our intention reaches beyond its bounds. We aspire to facilitate an enriching exchange on the broader theme of Quality of Life for the clients of service providers. By delving into this expansive perspective, we aim to amplify our collective understanding, draw insights, and ignite conversations that pave the way for comprehensive and meaningful enhancements. This conference invites us to delve into the intricate layers of quality of life, creating a tapestry of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation that extends far beyond the confines of any single project.

This event, organised in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee is set to take place on 18 October from 2.30 to 5.30 PM at VMA Building, Rue Van Maerlant 2, Brussels (Belgium).
