Denzel and Sarah will talk about what needs to change in the Youth Justice system in the US. Over the past year Denzel and Sarah have co-facilitated over 30 workshops together inside of youth prisons in Illinois.  They are a part of the “Reimagining Youth Justice Project” seeking to elevate the voices, ideas, and wisdom of those most impacted by youth incarceration in Illinois. The project shares young people’s lived experiences to create a more just, equitable, and child-friendly justice system.
