On November 13th, LLLP with the support of COMANITY project partners organised an EU Round Table on the very timely topic of ‘Skills for the Future of Youth work‘ in Brussels (agenda). It was the COMANITY project’s final conference. The event was therefore also a celebration of two years of fruitful collaborative work between the nine organisations that composed the partnership. Over 60 participants from across the EU attended and actively contributed to the discussions.
A delegation from the Lifelong Learning Platform had the pleasure to meet with the new Chair of the CULT Committee, MEP Sabine Verheyen (Germany, EPP). The meeting was a very fruitful discussion, focusing on the future of lifelong learning and the work of the Euroepan Parliament for the coming months.

The Lifelong Learning Platform: European Civil Society for Education welcomes the European Commission’s proposal for the next Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027), including the commitment to double the budget, widen access to smaller organisations through “small-scale partnerships” and improve outreach to learners with fewer opportunities and resources.
