Project management
Support the project team in the daily management of ongoing projects
Work with colleagues and external partner organisations
Produce different kinds of documents, including templates, questionnaires, etc
Attend project meetings, including the drafting of minutes and reports
Desk research
Communication
Support the drafting of content for external communication channels (e.g. newsletter and web articles), including social media.
Assist the external dimension of projects through the production of communication materials (leaflets, publications, reports, etc.)
Design and implement dissemination and exploitation strategies
Liaise with the communication team for external dissemination
Admin
Support the project team in the organisation of events related to ongoing projects
Minutes/reports of meetings/events
Monitor partners’ work
A genuine interest in lifelong learning
Good writing and analysis skills, with the ability to adapt own language to the target audience
Good computer skills and digital literacy
Knowledge of EU funding programmes (especially Erasmus+)
Experience with communication tools, such as Wordpress, Wix, Mailchimp, and Social Media
Experience with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Any other transversal skills relevant to project management
Knowledge of additional languages
Position: Project and Communication Assistant
Reports to: Project and Policy Manager
Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension.
Capacity: Full-time, i.e. 38 hours/week
Location: Rue de l’industrie 10, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. Home-working arrangements are possible for 2 days/week.
Contract type: Contrat d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP), subject to approval by public authority, or Erasmus+ scholarship if applicable.
Remuneration: 1035,20 €/month (above 21 years of age) or 848,90 €/month (below 21 years of age) under CIP; remuneration under Erasmus+ grants varies depending on the support received.
In addition to the above remuneration, LLLP covers local transport costs in Brussels and offers an allowance for meal vouchers.
