The European Council for Steiner Waldorf Education (ECSWE) is a European network of 26 national Steiner Waldorf associations representing more than 700 Steiner Waldorf schools in Europe.
The mission of ECSWE is to strengthen and develop Steiner Waldorf education in the member countries of the network, to promote mutual support among its members and to conduct advocacy in the public sphere for better quality in education, independence of curriculum and assessment and freedom of choice of schooling. It stands for an education including physical, mental and spiritual dimensions, for the protection and wellbeing of childhood, and aims at building up better educational practices for all children and young people.
