The Lifelong Learning Platform’s working groups are set up to study in detail certain policy areas, hot topics and ideas relevant to the progress of lifelong learning in Europe. The Platform currently animates 4 working groups:
- Wider Benefits of Learning
- Europe 2020 Policy Coherence: focused on the Post Paris Declaration
- Validation Task force
- Digital Learning
The Lifelong Learning Platform together with the European Youth Forum is also leading a coalition of European NGOs advocating for strong EU programmes in the field of education, training and youth.
The most recent working development is the creation of an Interest Group on Lifelong Learning, set up between the Platform, our partner EAEA, and Members of the European Parliament. It is chaired by MEP Sirpa Pietikäinen (EPP, FI).
